The Fantasy Sports List Team generated a list of the top-200 fantasy football position players heading into draft season 2016. Kras, Nate Leer and JJ Bens each shared their top-250 and this list is a composite of the 3 lists. We put together the list without a particular scoring method in mind – in other words, which players we would take first, then second, etc. in the most formats. Defenses and kickers are not included on this list as it is our belief that those should be your last two picks and be pulled right from lists unique to each position. Our list is skewed a bit from others based on Nate Leer’s belief that Gronk should be the first pick in most formats. Here’s more from him about that. It does make sense that RBs are relatively scarce early on the list since each of the best ones have significant questions around them – yes, even David Johnson (unproven and deep backfield) and Todd Gurley (also unproven and could be limited by a bad offense) are not relatively sure things like AP and Jamal Charles (both of whom are getting pretty old) have been in recent seasons. The crazy skill sets of Brown, Beckham, Jones and one big TE make them the real values early in the draft.
